According to my experience this Aldan American shock did not deliver the expected performance for my automotive. The suspension felt stiff and bumpy on even slightly rough surfaces. Although it improved handling a little, it was not worth the hassle of replacing the old shock and installing the Aldan American... The only pro about this shock was that it was easy to install. The biggest con was its poor performance on the road which made my driving experience uncomfortable and unsafe..

I've been looking at them for a long time. Finally printed and bought. Installed them on 98 C1500. During installation, I completely replaced the front suspension with new parts, including the levers. They were perfect for the first few months. A bit of a hard ride, but adjusting the knob quickly changed that. But in the last few months one of the coilovers has started to creak. The noise got louder and louder over time. I've disassembled this side many times and found nothing, but I did feel a
