Anker Customer Service got it right!

Updated rating. Anker saw my issue in my original review here. I didn't contact them directly because I wasn't sure if the cable just wasn't rated for use with my iPhone XR and iPad Pro. They sent me a new cable to test and it works exactly as I expected. However, since my original cable was causing problems from the very first time I tried it on both my phone and tablet, I suspected their quality control tests detected this issue. Anker has excellent customer service. Original Review: I was just looking for a good universal USB-C to Lightning cable to transfer data and charge from my MacBook Pro 16 to my XR phone and iPad 10.5 pro (including the stroller). From time to time I get an incompatible popup with my iPad. although sometimes it seems to try to work. However, it doesn't seem to want to charge the battery, so my iPad eventually turns off in tethered stroller mode. I usually use it from time to time and then the problem occurs when I'm not sure if it's my fault or not and put it back in my pocket. Then after a month or two I'll return it hoping it's better now, but in reality it never is. It just wasn't a reliable cable for me. I've had much better luck with Revain's USB-C to USB converter,

Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
