Everything went very well at first, printer set up, calibrate, make sure everything is set up and ready to go. Started typing, everything seems to be going well. Stopped for review. Yes, it stuck to the build plate. Went to take a nap. I woke up to a horrible smell of tar (yes, even in a specially designed ventilated room) to find a hole had formed in the vat and the assembly had fallen off the panel. FEP was destroyed. The LCD is broken. 4 hours of thorough cleaning of the uncured resin and placing in a disposable trash can that I could leave in the sun for a while to dry the material. Pack back up after wiping everything down, any leftover resin bottles and everything else. I sent this POS back. This technology still has a long way to go before I get to it. TOO many things can and will go wrong. And replacing FEP is NOT easy. A scratch? Start all over. Slipped and dropped when you were almost done? START FIRST. Just a nightmare. Your mileage may vary depending on this, but I'll stick with extruder printers for a while until this stuff becomes less of a coin toss, depending on whether you play with disposing of hazardous waste or enjoy 3D printing. I wish you the best of luck but I'm out!
