While I LOVE Well Wisdom's Vital Whey Natural - Unflavoured - 100% Pure Whey Protein, this cocoa flavor failed my test. Disclaimer, I do NOT use sweeteners in my smoothies so I found this product to be too sweet. If you're like me, don't take this product. The reasons I decided to try this product are: (1) I find it to be a high quality whey protein, (2) I LOVE unflavored natural whey protein (have been using it exclusively for over a year), and (3) natural unflavored protein was on standby for almost 3 weeks and I'm done. I didn't change anything from my recipe, which includes 1 scoop of whey protein, 1 cup coconut milk and 1/4 cup homemade almond milk, 1 cup fresh spinach, 1 cup. frozen blueberries, strawberries, cherries and pomegranates, plus 1 tablespoon Navitas 100% cocoa powder. Mixed in my Vitamix. I was afraid it might be too chocolaty but that never bothered me as I couldn't get rid of the sweetness. I knew it would be cuter but I couldn't take it. I guess after cleaning up my palette and choosing fruit as a sweetener, I became very sensitive to alternatives. I am a true chocolate lover who can enjoy 85% dark chocolate. If I want "sweet chocolate" I choose 72%. Just to give the person reading this a little history of my taste buds. If you normally add stevia or another sweetener you might like that, but if you're looking for sweetness stick with unflavored as you have 100% taste control. Shipping was fast and as usual Revain dealt with my dissatisfaction great, great customer service.
