I measured and measured to make sure everything was correct. That's exactly what I did. I replaced the crumbling caps on the vintage folding chairs and they fit perfectly. It also helped that I was outside the front door in the very warm sun after the birth. I bought a pack of 40 and used 12. I probably have other chair legs that can use the rest or they will wear out first. Or a gift for family. They were nice and soft but thick and molded well around the trunk so moisture didn't cause new rust. Another day I will sand the chairs and refresh them with paint.
