I needed to replace a small kitten flat I bought when my cats were 8 weeks old. I had no idea one of them would grow so much and now he is a very long and tall 19 pound kitten and he is struggling to get up to the standard size perches in the scratching posts and in the apartments in my house fit. I bought it because of the large top perch and because it has an extra perch that my normal sized cat can use at the same time. The scratching post part seems well made and wrapped tighter than some of the others I have which hopefully means it will last longer. Very easy to assemble yourself. My only complaint is that I wish the little corner was bigger, but that should be perfectly fine for medium sized kittens.
