This is a very well thought out product. It's durable, but the hood mat is removable (and therefore washable). All the bolts were put together well, all the parts made sense and I feel like I got a really good deal.

I bought 2 different scratching posts and this is the one my cat loves! She is ALWAYS on the top perch and we have a lot of fun playing with her while she hides below. Very sturdy, great height, nice gray color and looks fantastic! I am very, very happy with this purchase!

My 16 year old cat has arthritis and can't climb so I bought her this low perch. However, she cannot jump to the upper level because the lower level (even without a bed) is very narrow. I added a footstool so she can climb onto the top bunk, but that's not ideal. I keep it to myself because it's the right color, it's very easy to assemble and it's perfect for her to watch her favorite window. But this post is not for adult cats.
