Thanks to another reviewer who mentioned that his remote board works and just needs new buttons, I decided to replace my old board with a new case and it worked great! You get two remotes, each with a battery, for about the same price as buying new batteries. Great offer. I will update the review when I try to program a second remote as a replacement. I've seen some reviewers claim a locksmith is required, others have said you can buy the programming tool yourself, and I've seen instructions online that suggest programming it in the car using the correct series of command inputs can.
