My wife had a resident shark that lasted 3-4 years then the battery died. We ordered this one and received it in mid-October 2015. The battery in it prevailed after about 8 weeks. We contacted Shark Support and they were happy to send us a replacement unit which we received in time for Christmas 2015. The second is now dead on February 2nd just 6 or 7 weeks after getting a replacement. I contacted Shark support again and they sent me a new battery which I will try. But my wife is really mad at the company at this point and is ready to throw this nonsense out the door and buy another brand. I convinced them to wait and see if the new battery worked. If not, I'll write a follow-up review and then we'll buy another brand. Unless, out of desperation, my wife kills me first!
