This vacuum cleaner is really disappointing. I have a vertical shark and I like it for the high suction power and ease of use. I've never had trouble picking up dog hair so thought it would be the same but easier to pull out and use in a pinch. It doesn't have the strength of shelves (and I know it's a lot smaller) and it doesn't pick up dog hair from furniture like I was hoping. My wife had a resident shark that lasted 3-4 years then the battery died. We ordered this one and received it in mid-October 2015. The battery in it prevailed after about 8 weeks. We contacted Shark Support and they were happy to send us a replacement unit which we received in time for Christmas 2015.
