If you are like me, this fan will attract you with its beauty. And it looks functional and quiet. As long as it's quiet, it doesn't work. 1. Doesn't rotate! It seems as it should be. Since the fan doesn't spin/spin, you have to spin the whole unit. some kind of pain 2. You can't pick it up! The posts snap into place for assembly but have no locking mechanism. So if you try to revive the fan, it just falls apart. Some great pain. Makes it impossible to move this fan around the house without removing it from the base and hugging it tightly to keep it from falling apart. All in all I would not recommend this fan. Beautiful design? Yes. But don't sacrifice function for form. It can't be easily rotated (which seems like a pretty important feature for a fan) and it can't be easily moved around the house. If you need a fan in a specific location, aimed at a specific angle, this fan might be for you.
