Those who have to listen to me with magnification have told me that this is my best microphone. Tried three external microphones. This is also a speaker and I can clearly hear the other participants. I don't have to look in a certain direction (e.g. I can turn my head and speak) so that others can hear me well. I put it in the middle of the table and the whole family can video chat with others. Chat. I would like the cable to be about 12 inches longer. It has a USB adapter that fits my laptop or chromebox. I can quickly mute the device without muting the app. This is great when I need to say something private to a family member during a large group meeting. We use it for practice. The mic picks up so well my friends can tell my dryer was on (2 rooms away) so another good use of the mute button. The speakerphone's size and weight make it quite portable.
