Review on πŸ”₯ Gesail 1500W Electric Immersion Heater: UL-Listed Bucket Water Heater with Stainless-Steel Guard, Thermostat, and Auto Shutoff - Rapidly Heats 5 Gallons in Minutes by Walter Devarakonda

AT LEAST 30 minutes Best in water heaters and replacement parts

Recently bought two of these units and have been heating water in 5 gallon buckets all day. I heated at least 10 buckets in a row. The initial temp was 70F and after 30 minutes the temp was 150F. It's certainly NOT in minutes like the gauges suggest. It warms up the water and I'm sure if I had the patience the temperature would rise even higher. The other downside is that you can't submerge the handle of the device, which I think is a total failure. I seriously mean how much extra cost it would cost to seal the pen so it can get wet. The tricky part is that you can't heat 5 gallons of water without submerging the handle in water, so you have to quickly set up a crossbar over the bucket and attach the heater to the pole. It is not very convenient for "plug and play". If you want to quickly heat 1 gallon of water in "just minutes," then these heaters are the way to go. NO bathtubs, NO pools, nothing more than a 5 gallon bucket.

Pros
  • Easy to use - submerge in water to the correct height. Plug it into a grounded outlet. Check the power indicator in the plug to make sure the water bucket heater is on. then the portable water heater starts to work. Warning: The cord and handle must not be submerged in water.
Cons
  • Low repairability
