Works well with Ethernet.
I mostly use this for an external ethernet connection and it works great; accelerates the internet connection from my wifi router to my ps4 via ethernet very well and the connection speed is now twice as fast as with the pure wifi connection. This extender didn't seem to make much of a difference to the WiFi extension I tested in a few different places in my house. This may be due to the 'refurbished' product I purchased. But who is to say that? [By the way, my WiFi router also belongs to TP-Link and I think they could be more compatible.]
