3 stars = fine. Grill pans are very difficult to clean compared to my regular cast iron pans. I've been cooking with cast iron for about 7 years now and finally bit the bullet of a griddle pan. I have some regrets about buying the grill as it is difficult to clean. I thought this tool would help clear the space between the parts of the grill, but it doesn't do the job very well. The scraper works well and I've used it on my regular cast iron skillet and pizza stone. If the scraper didn't work well I would have given it fewer stars.
