Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Ora Recovery Slide 2 for Women by Hoka One One by Danielle Hemp

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good, but. suitable for women

I've been dreaming of a pair of these sandals since the first time I saw them. First, let me back up a bit. A few years ago I suffered a fairly long term (initially misdiagnosed) Achilles tendon injury and the only, I mean ONLY sneakers/shoes I could wear and still wear are the Hoka Gaviota. Since I can't walk barefoot/in socks anymore and the slippers didn't fit, I've worn Oofos recovery sandals at home and sometimes to work over the summer. I love them, but they're kind of ugly. I saw them online and thought they looked a bit more "professional" in the summer. They are good but not as chic and comfortable as they seem, in fact they are quite stiff compared to the Oofos brand. Also, one of my legs is much narrower than the other, but when I walk, I have to be careful not to let the free leg fall off my leg. Overall they are ok though, albeit a little less plush than I was hoping for.

Pros
  • sport sandals and flip flops
Cons
  • strap
