Item defective had to send back, will update this review if the replacement is any better. Recieved item and the base did not match the knife holder, the mount holes did not line up so unable to assemble and the colors did not match. Item looked very dirty and dingy, nothing like the very pretty wood in the online advertised pictures. The magnets do seem strong but really wasn't able to test that out.***UPDATE*** 2ND item recieved and yet again its defective screw holes don't line up correctly one direction and then when you turn it around it does not line up with cutout so it sits outside of grooves and uneven, this one seems like the magnets were also defective because it would not hold even small light knives. Very poor craftsmanship and now I have to wait over 2 weeks for a refund.
