Good Choice for Duvet

After using polyester duvets for a long time, I decided it was time to invest in a duvet. I didn't want to spend all my money on one if I didn't like it. After looking around a bit I decided to order this royal duvet from zzlamb. I like this particular blanket for several reasons. First, I like the folding design. I know that with duvets over time the entire filling can shift and large tufts of feathers can form inside. I figured this wouldn't happen with the tuck fold design as all the padding would be held in place. And second, I liked that the cover of this blanket is 100% cotton. Many of the comforters I saw had a synthetic finish. I think cotton breathes better so you don't sweat. My blanket arrived vacuum packed as you can see in the picture. I opened it up and it immediately began to expand. I briefly put it in the dryer on medium, just to fluff it up and "air out" it, so to speak. It came out beautifully and the cotton cover was really soft. The cover looks very well made. The stitching is strong and the soft Egyptian cotton cover is one of the best fabrics for a duvet. The down filling is evenly distributed and by no means scarce. I had no problem tucking the comforter into the duvet cover. The tabs on the corners made it easy to attach it to the bedspread and I laid it flat straight away. This duvet is warm but not too hot. I attribute it to the cotton coating. I think it will be good in winter. I can definitely recommend this.
