Not goose down: quilts and sets

Many divider boxes tend to be empty and lumpy. All fluff is flattened into a corner. It's almost impossible to shake it up because there's so little of it. In fact, half of the ceiling is an empty shell. It will not keep you warm in winter. With a 750 fountain pen, it's not a 650 fountain pen at all. This is no more than 300 fillers. It's also waterfowl down, not goose down as advertised. Although I didn't feel a single feather in the mix. The cotton cover is also quiet. You get what you pay…

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Not everything fits

I seriously thought I was banned when this comforter was sent to me. Then I thought wow, at that price they could just send me the wrong product. So I triple checked, king size, plaid, white - well, yellowish white plaid. It's like down material because it's different than the cotton inside I used to have in my comforter, so I'm looking at that as well. It has little bed hooks, check it out. I thought I didn't notice the crease - aha! So I really must have received the wrong item. Then I saw…

Good Choice for Duvet

After using polyester duvets for a long time, I decided it was time to invest in a duvet. I didn't want to spend all my money on one if I didn't like it. After looking around a bit I decided to order this royal duvet from zzlamb. I like this particular blanket for several reasons. First, I like the folding design. I know that with duvets over time the entire filling can shift and large tufts of feathers can form inside. I figured this wouldn't happen with the tuck fold design as all the padding

  • Ugly Packaging

One of the boys in the house sleeps in a bedroom that doesn't get too cold in winter. However, he slept under a thin fleece blanket. I figured it was time to get a blanket for this year's winter. It is easy to cut and open. You then allow the quilt to stretch outside of the bag. ODOR This duvet had no odor at all other than the usual new fabric smell which was minimal. BRIGHT? This is a medium weight duvet. It is light but still has some weight. This is suitable for all weather except very hot…

Light and Toasted.: Linens

I received this item for free as a Revain Vine reviewer and this is my honest review. I only ask for things I actually use and will use before writing a review. I had to replace a duvet as our current one was on its last legs. I've always preferred natural down over various synthetic downs, so I went with this one. My first thoughts when we got these were how flimsy they were compared to our current blanket. After using it for about a week I can say it is just as warm as our thicker duvet that…

The creases are only visible on one side!

I was willing to give a slightly negative review because it was the creases that made me order this duvet and the fact that it was actually made with real down and not any type of down was filled with polyester. replace down. I unwrapped the comforter from the plastic bag she took out of the air to save on size and all I saw was a smooth surface - the seams are accurate, but no creases. I wondered if they sent me the wrong product (as did the other reviewer). Even though we were in the middle…

Nice color and finish, a bit crunchy - Updated

Gray is an absolutely beautiful colour, rich and deep. This is a heavy duvet with beautiful decorative folds. I love the look of this duvet and it can easily be used as a lining/top of your bed. As always, I ordered it king (we have a queen bed) because the size of the duvet doesn't make sense. If you want your duvet to be the "finish" of your bed, you should let it droop at the footboard and sides to cover what's underneath (at least to the bottom of your mattress). The king for the queen…
