Worked for a few hours, then it started to fail

I wrote a very positive review about this product a few days ago, but I said it too soon. I bought a $99 Logitech Type-S case designed specifically for my Samsung A 9.7 tablet, but returned it in favor of this device as a better buy because it's so much cheaper. Also, I liked the detachable keyboard and multi-angle display that this device has compared to Logitech. However, this device began to fail after a few hours of use. I was getting a "Bluetooth device connected" message about once a minute, which indicated that the connection was not being maintained. Fluent typing has been replaced with multi-character input and hesitation. It wasn't my thick fingering because it did even if I was typing very slowly with one finger. It worked perfectly before. I called the support number I found and the guy on the phone gave me very brief basic answers like charge longer (it's been charging all night), clear cache, make sure there are no conflicting apps, etc in improve two days, we will replace it. But when I checked the reviews, others had these issues. My answer is no! I need this thing to just turn it on and work 100% of the time. I won't mess with it. At least it failed before I was at 35,000 feet on an international flight. I rushed out and bought Logitech, plugged it in and it works great. I have Logitech all over my house and their products work. You get what you pay for. The design is pleasant but unreliable. Spend more money elsewhere and pass it on.
