I was very impressed with how well this collar worked on my 70lb German Shepherd and how responsive it was. I prefer to use positive reinforcement (e.g. treats) to teach tricks, so I don't use this device while I'm learning. Instead, I actually use the training mode button to keep my dog from doing anything and he responds well to it, especially since he has sensitive ears. I want to avoid using higher ultrasonic waves when using containment mode. All it takes is a quick, targeted push of a button and my dog reacts. I wouldn't recommend using this when leashed around other dogs to avoid accidentally exposing other dogs to the waves. In these situations I use the DogCare Shock Collar (TC01) (actually I just need the horn and not the shock to keep the dog away from anything once he gets used to it). Conclusion: The product is much better. than I expected and I am very happy with the results. My only recommendation would be to make the wrist strap adjustable to make it easier to stay on my wrist when I'm not actively holding it in my hand.
