When we put our little one in his first bed, he rolled out of the bed during the second sleep (despite the built-in rail on the edge of the frame) and after I came to put him back to sleep I did I ordered this pillow after some research. Couldn't have made a better choice. The pillow is wide and high enough to prevent him from rolling out, but does not prevent him from getting in and out of bed. It's soft enough to sleep on comfortably, yet durable enough that he can't accidentally work on it while he's sleeping. A must for active sleepers who are too big for a crib!
