Actually I bought this for a friend. I unpacked it to repackage for a Christmas present. Before I could wrap it up again, my mom pounced on it, thinking it was a present for her. It's so cool! There is a slight, slight shimmer. That's the perfect amount in my opinion. The elephant is awesome! Gorgeous color and polka dots?! How can anyone NOT enjoy this mug? The top fits perfectly and still serves its purpose. Highly recommended!
