These are very strong magnets when applied to a flat ferrous surface.They work great for the suggested application of magnetically attaching LED lights.Of course they can be used for attaching many other things that can accept the M8 threaded studs.The rubber coating is thick and seems very durable. It won't scratch paint if it doesn't slide around and dirt has gotten under the magnets. It is beneficial to clean the underside of the magnets periodically.Hopefully the rubber coating is UV resistant as it will most likely be in direct exposure to UV every day. You can coat it with automobile exterior products to help block UV rays.I would recommend these as very good for what they are advertised for.5 stars.
