so I bought the poly gel kit thinking it would be a great alternative to acrylic. I don't know if it's just me, but I've had some pretty horrible experiences. The product itself was good but the application was terrible! I was able to spread it in doubles with rubbing alcohol, but it didn't stick to my nail after application. I thought maybe it was because I was using alcohol as a lubricant so I tried acetone. Acetone dries very quickly. Even after I was able to cure it I had a hard time removing the duplicate molds. the polygel deviates from the dual form several times. Had I managed to remove the double mold, the tip of the nail would have come off when filing. Any recommendations on what I can do to make the process easier?
