Review on Efficient and Versatile: Moen 7185SRS Brantford Kitchen Faucet with Power Boost and Reflex Technology - Spot Resist Stainless Finish by Brad Ward

Poor packaging but great customer service. Easy installation & Is it a working faucet?

My package was very dented, missing plate gasket, faucet head (obviously very important for a faucet) and installation tool. I called on Monday (according to the missing parts instructions). The automated system said they were very busy and asked if I would like to arrange a call back, which worked great. The worker stayed with me for the missing parts free of charge (as expected). As many others have said, most of the effort went into dismantling the old crane. I ended up taking my sink out of the closet entirely, so installing this faucet was extremely easy. However, I imagine a built-in sink would be almost as easy. (I was able to use a wrench instead of an installation tool.) Operation as expected. I wish the faucet was pulled out a little more, but I can still fill my coffee pot while standing on the counter by the sink, so that'll do. The handle position is a little back from straight up for hot and a little down from straight forward for cold, which is a bit strange to me, but honestly I'm not sure what would be better.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Nothing
