This was recommended by our vet for our 11 year old Shih Tzu who has become very inactive due to joint pain. After about two weeks of taking this supplement, she was much happier and more active! It's weird that it's vanilla flavored, but she willingly eats it if we add it to her regular meals. Highly recommended.
