Helped our older dog

This was recommended by our vet for our 11 year old Shih Tzu who has become very inactive due to joint pain. After about two weeks of taking this supplement, she was much happier and more active! It's weird that it's vanilla flavored, but she willingly eats it if we add it to her regular meals. Highly recommended.

It works for a girl!

I've already given our Katy a hip and joint supplement but it wasn't enough. My vet recommended this product to me and after a few days she had noticeable improvement and after 2 weeks a big turnover. She likes the taste of vanilla. Some days when she's been more active, I add another to her nightly routine and she wakes up with less stiffness and more mobility. She is Australian and loves to run! I recommend adding this to your regimen if you are already taking supplements and not getting…

Natural milk protein our dog loves

We've only just started. Besides freshly ground black pepper turmeric, I make coconut oil at home and give it to our Great Dane Sasha. I have great faith in giving. I've read a lot of great things about the milk protein duralactin and how it helps with the inflammatory response in the dog's body. or medications used. So far, no digestive or other unpleasant side effects have been observed. I am not paid for my comment or recommendation.

Great Yeast-Free Supplement

My elderly lifesaver St. Bernard can't take yeast supplements (yeast causes ear infections), so a friend recommended Duralactin Canine Chewables, which are yeast-free. I used to give my Saint Duralactin chewable pills but they changed the formula and now they contain chicken which she is allergic to so I'm buying the pills now. These pills are actually vanilla flavored and I didn't think my dog would like them but luckily she loves them and looks forward to having them as a treat every day. I…

Must have for older dogs!

We have a 10 year old lab that we saved at 7 without prior notice. He recently started limping on one of his front paws. We took him to the vet and it was assumed to be a long term effect of Lyme disease years ago (dormant inflammation). Maybe mixed with some arthritis. The vet prescribed these and some stronger meds to help, but we never had to use any other meds! We're on our third bottle of this now. We give our dog 3 pills a day and he is doing much better! Flavored with vanilla, he eats…

Finally something works!

Have been buying these from Revain for over 6 months now. Our border collie kept biting up on a leg and we tried a few RX meds but nothing helped. He has arthritis bothering him on the top of his left foot after taking these 1-1/2 pills twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening after meals. the biting stopped and the hair grew back where he had bitten her to blood. I recommend Vanilla Flavor, which smells like vanilla ice cream. He likes to take her with him. I always buy from…

Miracle in a bottle

I'm always hesitant to give my 15 year old anything other than dog food. an old mongrel dog but when I read that the wolf shelter gave this product to their older wolves with mobility issues I decided to give it a try. Wolves are very sensitive to a lot of things that dogs aren't, so I figured it was safe. My dog stopped cantering, had difficulty climbing stairs and was unable to climb into the double seat on my back deck. I saw a difference after a week of using Duralactin. I haven't even…

Looks useful and safe

We have an old man with weak hips who has difficulty walking and climbing stairs and often uses both hind legs at the same time. I was skeptical of the rumours, but there seems to be verifiable basis for claims of anti-inflammatory properties in dogs and humans. I couldn't find any reports of side effects so we tried it for a month, one pill once a day. Surprisingly, within a week he was moving better, climbing stairs on all four legs and being much more active for longer periods of time…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Difficult to say

I bought this elsewhere so I know the product and get good results with it. The product is excellent. The problem I had when purchasing through Revain was that many of the tablets were broken. They are chewable and scored but are meant to be a whole dose of one tablet. I can still use them broken but since they were broken in the bottle many of the pill pieces have worn down to a chalky consistency and even when combined into a whole pill there is less than the correct dose meaning less potency

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Best for my baby

My baby, my Rotty, my best friend and my vet can't believe it when I tell them what they are up to. She had early arthritis in her hind legs. (Her sister sadly died from ITP at just 7 years old.) Babygirl was the only one who squeaked as soon as she got off the couch. Over time the vet said try NUPRO which contains GLUCOSYMEN to relieve her pain and fish oil pills aka OMEGA 3 or I am currently using CSB liver pills. There was a difference, but she still squeaked, but not as much. It wasn't…
