I'm always hesitant to give my 15 year old anything other than dog food. an old mongrel dog but when I read that the wolf shelter gave this product to their older wolves with mobility issues I decided to give it a try. Wolves are very sensitive to a lot of things that dogs aren't, so I figured it was safe. My dog stopped cantering, had difficulty climbing stairs and was unable to climb into the double seat on my back deck. I saw a difference after a week of using Duralactin. I haven't even finished my first bottle yet and he runs around like a puppy, plays with my son's pup, plays tug of war with toys and climbs back onto the couch. I highly recommend trying this product on older dogs that have trouble moving.
