This product looks and feels very good on your feet. The blue color is actually blue-grey but neutral enough to pair with blue, black and brown clothing. The grippy surface is comfortable for walking on all surfaces, but I would have some slipping issues on wet grass or a hilly trail. I have no first hand information on waterproofing as I have only played with this product in dry conditions. Overall I am happy with this purchase and consider it a low maintenance, long lasting addition to my golf shoes.
