I started seeing these rechargeable lighters all over the internet and wondered how handy they would be. When I finally got the chance to try one of these, I was pleasantly surprised. It charges quickly (with a USB-C charger) and lasts a while before you need to charge again. There is a "button" on the side that slides to the on position and then you press the small round button to actually "ignite" sparks/electric flames. As soon as you release the button, the "flame" goes out. In addition, there is a "timer" for switching on. If it is in the on state but the button has not been pressed for a certain time, it will not work. You have to turn the lighter off and on again for it to work again. Which is a good security feature. There is also an indicator on the side that shows how charged the lighter is. When it's about to die, it will blink when you press the power button, signaling that it needs to be plugged in. To be honest I really like it. I can tilt it at any angle to light candles (big and small). I don't have to worry about getting my hands dirty or lighting the candle a certain way. It's so easy to light my favorite candles with this lighter. My stepdad also used it to fuel his charcoal grill and he loved it. This year I will buy for Christmas gifts.
