Review on πŸ”§ INTOO Titanium Impact Drill Change by Abaraham Duvernot

Good value for money but BEWARE.

Good value for money but you have to compromise by buying cheap bits. My current projects require me to change bits frequently, so I really wanted a hex shank set. Two piece construction (shaft + bit) I think probably cheaper to make but not ideal for perfectly straight (see through?) bits. In my first set of bits 5/16 had a pronounced wobble, I shouldn't have used it but I did. It cut metal perfectly at first at slow speed but suddenly went deep, hooking, twisting my drill bit and wrists and REALLY bending the drill bit - scary. I bought a second set and started dry testing all 21. SEVEN isn't true, with varying degrees of rocking. I'll try to collect a good set of the two I have and return the rest. While they are sharp and hard enough for metal, I would recommend using them for convenience only and ONLY FOR WOOD. The risk of injury just isn't worth it. Not sure about longevity as I haven't had it that long, but expect reasonable lifespan if I stick with wood. Oh the bit holder is pretty good but the bits are a little tight. Because the bits are close together, if you pull hard on the sharp grooves, they will get stuck. another possibility of injury.

Pros
  • Features: The special hex shank of the quick change drill bit is an upgraded version, it shows superior performance compared to the traditional stamped hex shank, preventing the drill from detaching from the hex shank, and effectively holding the hex shank with the drill during impact drilling.
