I have a 265 gallon aquarium, my old glass tube heaters burned up killing some of my prized fish. They got bigger and leaned against the heater and burned it, which later caused me serious problems with my tank due to their injuries. I was researching aquarium heaters and because of their design to protect the heating element from fish I decided to try a new product that had no reviews yet. At first I just ordered a heater to try. I got it through AMAZON with no problems. I read the instructions and installed it on one side of my tank. Plugged it in and the heater itself worked great but only provided a double suction cup mount to keep it off the glass. Due to the size and weight of this heater, a suction cup didn't work properly and the heater would not detach from the glass no matter what I did. Well I looked at the instructions and there was an email to please email if you have any problems. Well I emailed Hygger and explained to them that my problem was that I needed another set of suction cups to keep the heater off the glass. To my pleasant surprise, I received a reply email confirming the issue and saying that they had acknowledged the issue and advised me to send myself another set of suction cups. I received the second set and it solved this problem. This heater works great with no issues and an easy to read LED display. AS, I ordered a second one due to the size of my pool. The second came and I installed it. Three days later the external LED went out. I thought maybe it was just a defect and immediately sent it back to AMAZON who immediately sent me another one at my request. Well, the second one did the same thing, put it back on the other, the third one did the same thing, the external LED went out. I emailed Hyperper again and again got a reply saying they did indeed have an issue with a specific set of heaters, but they have now resolved the LED failure issue. Well I got my fourth from AMAZON and it works great. Although I initially had trouble getting the job done, Hyperper's customer service has been excellent and the heaters work great. That's why they get 5 stars from me. FYI I also have a Hyperper air pump and it's one of the best I've had and works great in a 265 gallon tank. Finally, if you have any problem, EMAIL YOU, Hyperper will do its best to solve your problem.
