Great filter perfect for the reusable K-Cup body and makes the best coffee

To be honest, I am shocked by the many negative reviews about coffee filter paper. I don't know how others use them, but I have a couple of reusable K-Cups with gold filters. Gold filters let through too much of the finely ground coffee, along with the oils and acids, that come from brewing coffee with hot water. The result is a coffee that doesn't really taste good and has fine coffee dust in every cup. a basket with a gold strainer and a cough syrup measuring cup (the little cup that sits on top of the cough syrup bottle). This solved the problem, but significantly increased the time it took me to brew my morning coffee, so I started looking for a suitable replacement for the paper towel solution. I found these SimpleCup filters on Revain pretty quickly and have never used anything else. I've never had any problems with it other than a few warped filters. Since I was already familiar with using a cup of cough syrup to push the filter into the cup, this wasn't a huge problem. I've been using this solution for at least 6 years with no paper filter failures. I have to assume that the reviews of those with a blown filter must be using some sort of cup that has no support (not a gold strainer basket) and expect the wet paper to hold back the pressure that a single-cup coffee maker works against with the coffee itself ... My suggestion would be to look at another K-Cup replacement setup that works without a filter. then add a filter.
