Great for all ages!

I bought 2 of these sets. Clay has the texture of a thicker slime before it dries. It doesn't look like "normal" sound. So far I have made two small figures with my children: a cheeseburger and a snail. All colors are packed in plastic packaging. INCLUDED are mini ziplock bags that can be filled with any color clay after removing it from the plastic wrap. I liked it. The clay seemed to take some time to FULLY dry. I have found that turning the model/sculpture every other day helps it dry. If the position of the object does not change frequently, it will take a long time for the underside to dry. After the model dries, it hardens to a large extent, but is not as hard as "normal" fired clay. It's hard, but I would say the hardness is a bit softer than hardened plasticine that has been dried. Once the air-dried clay is fully set (it took at least a week for our two figures to FULLY dry), you can always use your fingernail to make an indentation in the model. When fully dry they are REALLY light which my kids love. My son accidentally broke his and I wanted to glue it back together, but instead I had the idea of gently dampening the area with water and gluing the pieces together. and it worked great! That's a neat little trick. It was a very small "antenna" on the auger that broke, so I'm not sure it will work with the larger piece that broke off. Overall a great craft that can be interesting for all ages.
