I rented a car for a month, and they handed me this GIANT mess of keyfobs that didn't even fit in one hand. The rental car agency gives you all the keys to keep them together. I get it, but I'm a dude, and that's not going to fit into my pocket. So I cut their key cable and carried just one of the fobs while safely securing the other. I simply reunited the fobs with this wire ring when I returned the car. Worked fine. I probably wouldn't use this if I had to frequently disconnect the cables since the threads were a little tricky sometimes, but it worked perfectly for the use case mentioned.
