I bought this seat for a new non-shock hybrid bike so I was looking for something that was comfortable to sit on and cushioned the bumps in the trail. This seat does both. It's just a little wider at the back and the nose a little shorter at the front, so it fits well and is very comfortable. I've ridden the bike a few times with the original seat and felt every bump, but I've actually felt a little bounce on this seat when going through ditches or rocky areas, so that's great. I would definitely recommend this.
