I'm really impressed with this. I have been welding (all shapes) for about 35 years and wanted to try this on a small DC dual voltage* inverter type welder that I was given for repairs that only has 110-120 volts. Two great things really surprised me about these bars: (1) they flow and penetrate perfectly, even at 90 amps on a small welder, and (2) charging is very easy - almost unheard of for 7018s. I can recommend this rod without hesitation. * This AC wand works well with DCEP (the electrode/spike/wand holder is attached to the + of your machine). If you're curious, the particular dual voltage welder I use (works automatically on 110 OR 220V) is an inexpensive AHP160ST.
