Review on Fel Pro 60677 Carburetor Mounting Gasket by Richard Nonya

This is the correct gasket for any International 304/345 combine engine with a 2-barrel carburetor. I recently bought a 1970 IH Scout and am having serious flooding problems. I changed the carburetor (the original was not worth repairing and the kit was expensive) - Holly 2300. First I used the original "gaskets" (there were 2 of them) with a new carburetor. It worked at first, but then it started flooding again. I replaced the carburetor gaskets with one of these and the engine immediately ran smooth and got a lot cooler too. I think the lesson from my experience is that not all pads are created equal. Even if they don't seem to be losing vacuum, they can cause problems with gas leaking into the engine, which I think has happened. Don't buy anything other than that for an international engine with a 2bbl carburetor. If you ignore this and get into trouble, it's your own fault.
