Photo and video processing on a smartphone is performed in the GoPro application (so far only on iOS, hardware - iPhone 6s and higher, they promise to ate the application on Android soon). The application works well, does not slow down, does all the basic things (gluing, cutting, exporting, stabilizing, overcapture). But it has not yet been optimized and often does not sew well: the gluing lines are noticeable and there is a border in lighting in the area of ​​​​the seam. Fusion Studio gluing on a PC is much better, the program supports cropping, stabilization, overcapture, color correction, advanced rendering settings. The system requirements of Fusion Studio are also not simple: Windows 10, RAM from 8GB, processor from i5, video card with memory from 4 GB. Processing VR content takes a lot of time, but it all depends on the power of your hardware. For example, on my 2022 laptop (i5-2450M 2.50GHz, 8GB RAM, Nvidia 630M 2GB), a 5-minute 5K@30fps video is stitched into panoramic for about 4 hours. Fusion Studio comes with GoPro VR plugins for Adobe Premier or After Effects. With their help, you can rotate the picture in the editor. All in all, the Fusion is a pretty niche camera. I would not recommend this model as the main action camera. But this is definitely a new experience and new opportunities, the product is very interesting.
