I noticed this first aid kit and thought it might be a good tool box. I am very happy with this box except for one. The lid doesn't stay on. The hinge is designed to be used when the drawer is fixed to the wall. I bought some styrofoam sheets to organize your workbench drawers. In combination with the box I have exactly what I need. I only have one short stick in each box. When the lid needs to stay up, the stick works great, inserting one end between the foam and the wall of the box and the other end holding the lid. The foam is called "Case Club Blue Customizable 18 x 16 x 2 inch Polyethylene Foam" if you want to foam your box as well. This is exactly the thickness, with a small gap between the foam and the cover. This box fit my set of sockets so well that I bought another box. The narrower compartment offers space for pens, the larger for essays. The foam prevents a mess.
