I assume this is Chinese made, because of the price. We had a metal door that was ugly on our barn. We built some nice cedar barn doors, and decided to screw some think cedar pickets on our metal double door on the right. I picked this design because it was a simple rectangle. the rectangle part was 5/8" thick - the same as the cedar pickets, so I was able to install the door handle in about 10 minutes and then measure and cut out cedar board to simply go around this handle. Sorry . the tree is right in front of the door on the right on the photo. but you get the idea hopefully. The handle is nice and sturdy (so far ). and was easy to install. but I have installed 25 or more handles before, so I didn't need to look at the directions. I doubt they were that good if they came from china.
