I don't abuse them but I can say that after an average of 4-5 uses on a small area, the sponge falls apart and needs to be replaced. I make sure to wring it out completely after each use (so it never gets wet), but it still doesn't hold up as well as I expected. And the extra little blue pad that sits on the side of the mop head is completely useless - it falls off every time, so it's not even worth putting on - throw it straight in the bin.
