I don't abuse them but I can say that after an average of 4-5 uses on a small area, the sponge falls apart and needs to be replaced. I make sure to wring it out completely after each use (so it never gets wet), but it still doesn't hold up as well as I expected. And the extra little blue pad that sits on the side of the mop head is completely useless - it falls off every time, so it's not even worth putting on - throw it straight in the bin.

If that's the right "style" for you, it's a fair price compared to what we have pay at the grocery store. I have 2 likes - accidents happen. I don't like when I need a mop and the sponge has to be flat and non-absorbent. Sometimes doing business with this brand is not convenient for me. That's why I like to buy a few at a reasonable price and have them on hand. If you have the right mop, sooner or later you will need all 4 cleaning sponges.

This seller is now becoming my trusted supplier for the Quickie Type S mop heads as it turns out all the regular stores in my area in the Bronx no longer stock these replacement heads . As far as I can tell Quickie has come out with a new mop design and these stores are promoting it right now. There's no reason to throw away my old mop just because there aren't any replacement heads on the market. I like shopping from the locals, but when the vendors don't carry what I need.
