Awesome computer mics

I recently played with the Blue Yeti X World of Warcraft mic, with a weird and beautiful design and a bunch of voice effects, but because I'm not a big gamer and I'm too old and boring to play around with voice effects. It was a pleasure to open the EPOS B20 box and find a no-nonsense, stripped-down, professional-looking mic for adults to enjoy. I'm a big fan of EPOS. I use the EPOS Sennheiser GSX300 sound card on a daily basis and I like the simple yet elegant design of their devices. These things don't add unnecessary frills. They are just smooth and clean. I agree. I've only been playing with the mic for a day or two but so far I'm enjoying the performance and I particularly like that the B20 is now compatible with the EPOS software suite, allowing me to use the great graphic EQ that comes with the is package. at software. The only thing I don't like about this mic is the same thing I don't like about my GSX300 sound card. EPOS has a habit of making its volume controls non-functional and spinning endlessly. Sure, it's the right choice, but personally I prefer to feel that physical stop when you hit zero and 100% volume, and I like the marking on the volume knob itself. This is just a minor note, but it's one those design features that get on my nerves. Overall though, this is a very well built mic. This seems to be the high level I expect and demand in this price range. The stand is solid and well balanced and if you wish to mount it to your jib it is easy. This is a solid mid-range option for professionals and a great option for gamers.
