Review on 🐾 Pride Pet Doors Rubber Replacement Assembly for Improved Pet Door Functionality by Sasha Hsiao

I have 2 dogs (one is 160lbs and the other is 50lbs) that use this dog door every day. I installed this door in March 2015 and about six months ago (October 2016) the U shaped wing started to fall off and shortly after that the outer wing started to peel off. The magnets on it will fall off after a few months of use (3 to 5 months at best). I refused to re-glue them because they fell off the rubber and bounced every time it flexed. It was easy to install the replacement cover (requires 2 people, one on the inside of the dog flap and the other on the outside), just keep the screws as the replacement cover does not come with screws. Actually I would give 2 stars. but it serves it's purpose, just not very good quality considering it says "long life" on the packaging. pfft. Real rubber quality is great, but the Ushape valve just can't handle dogs that get in and out at least 4 times a day. From time to time I see my big dog grab his foot on the ushape part of the door.
