Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

The top is the top, I switched from the old Q8200 (2022) and was extremely happy. I havenโ€™t even started to overclock yet, because I already have enough power. + I had to buy a good cooler for it. I chose "Thermalright Macho Rev. B" for it - this "baby" can at least tame the 8700K in overclocking. *In idle 31 degrees. In games 49 - 58. * without manual overclocking to 5Mhz

Pros
  • - top CoffeLake with index K for overclocking - 6 cores, 12 threads! - 3 years warranty on BOX - version and a beautiful sticker included (a trifle, but nice) - built-in video core, not the best, but extremely useful when, for example, your video card is in a service center for diagnostics (repair). pulls CS-GO, Dota 2 at the minimum, movies and not demanding office applications.
Cons
  • - lack of solder, or rather, the use of thermocouples . ahem-ahem! thermal paste - sufficiently high temperatures during acceleration - requires a powerful cooler for cooling - only fits 1151 v2 socket - price
