Review on Panasonic DMR-E30S DVD Recorder with Progressive Scan by Ricky Snyder

Great for capturing TV/Cable to DVD-Ram if you don't have a TIVO. I like to watch a recorded show and record another at the same time. Recording in XP or SP mode from a miniDV camcorder (but not FireWire. I use S-Video). It is convenient to edit advertisements on DVD-RAM. With DVD-R, the possibilities are more limited (no advertising possible). No compatibility. Problems on older DVD players with DVD-R.LP mode. For later general viewing ok, but the quality is so-so. Sometimes there are slight audio dropouts after editing, but these are not significant. The player slowly turns on, initializes, or opens the disc tray. I RECOMMEND IT ALSO WITH THIS BUG!
