I like how you can set up permissions to restrict access (you can even create groups) without having to use a complicated directory structure. There aren't any features that I dislike so far, but there could always be more! Sometimes connecting via ssh is slower than directly accessing through an IP address. This isn't really noticeable unless you have multiple users in your system trying to connect at once. We've been able to get around this by either setting our router to give us dynamic dns or just creating static ip addresses. Having secure file transfer is something we rely heavily upon here at work. The benefits include quickness and security. I like the fact that it is easy to configure and it is very light on resources. The only thing I dislike is that it is not as user friendly as I would like. I would like to have a more intuitive way to see what is going on in the server. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight FTP server. I am using glftpd to host my website. It is very easy to use and has a very simple interface.
