Great shoe, very versatile, great quality, VERY ODD fit! I also have a Cole Haan Williams II and this style fits in a very different way. I have a fairly normal foot - not narrow, not wide. But I bought this shoe in my normal size and was shocked at how incredibly snug it fits my foot. Seriously, as soon as I put these shoes on my foot, I knew I wasn't going to get through a day in the office in these my normal size shoes. The weird thing is that the length was actually generous. A little longer than I expected. Needless to say I sent them back. As I liked the look of the shoe I took a chance and halved the size and ordered a size 2E Wide and it actually fits like a standard Williams shoe sizing. Unless you have a very narrow foot, I strongly recommend that you go for the wide version of this shoe. Trust me when it arrives you will see that it is not wide at all! If you have wide feet and think a 2E Wide will fit, I think you should keep looking as 2E will compress your feet. The quality is as expected in this price range and I like the color very much. A very versatile shoe for everyday wear or the office. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, even though it took me two tries to get it right. I hope this helps you get it right the first time.
